A Million Stories meets with Rikard from the Scandinavian Embassy in Amsterdam
“I think that’s what I set out to do in the first place, I wanted to create something that was good for my family. If it’s good for my family it should be good for others as well”
Meet Rikard, a role model – father, partner and business man – transparent and intertwined – every aspect of his day resembles a clear picture of who Rikard is, and what Rikard stands for. Nothing is separate from each other.
Rikard’s father was a teacher and his mother a district nurse – he grew up on a farm.
He tells us how important it was to him as a young boy that he could understand and interpret very clearly, exactly what his parents were doing, when they stepped out the door for their days work.
“Even though we were working in the same field we couldn’t tell each other what we were doing”
conversation Rikard displays such comfort, love and ease while his nine month daughter, Maya, moves him.
“It’s your dream,,, you have to live and dream your dream, its with you at all times, it is twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, three-hundred and sixty-five days a year”
